Meet Red Ed. Ed grew up in Ogallala, the truck of a farmer—hauling gas, herding cows, you name it, and this truck accomplished it. We pulled this truck from a barn and brought it into the shop rusted and rotting. Two years later we drove it out fully restored and turning heads—a true work of art.
Project included:
- Full frame-off restoration
- Blasting and powder coating frame with suspension parts
- Rebuilding complete suspension
- Installation of new motor and transmission
- Installation of vintage heat and air units
- Rewiring entire truck
- Re-foaming and recovering seat
- Installation of new carpet
- Rebuilding and refinishing wooden truck bed
- Full paint and body work, including sand blasting
- Upgrading front drums to disc
- Building dual exhaust
- Upgrading to 20 inch rims and tires
